About Jubilee

Jubilee Park is a growing neighborhood located just five minutes from downtown Dallas.  The city has named Jubilee Park, a 62-block neighborhood bounded by I-30, Fair Park, East Grand Ave., a Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) area.  The City and other public and private organizations have invested over $20 million to revitalize the neighborhood.  Improvements include the addition of a park, new infrastructure (repaved streets and sidewalks), the addition of security cameras and a neighborhood police station to improve public safety.  In the Fall of 2010, Jubilee opened the T. Boone Pickens Community and Resource Center, a multi-million dollar facility that houses free social services and educational resources for children and adults alike.  Jubilee is a remarkable community undergoing positive changes and residents are actively invested in making Jubilee a safe, happy place to live.  To learn more about the work being done in Jubilee Park, visit the Jubilee Park & Community Center website.

Dallas City Homes, Inc. (DCH)’s relationship with Jubilee began in 2004. Since then, DCH has helped 12 families transition into homeownership in Jubilee Park.  Low-income homebuyers qualify to receive $25,000 to help with down-payment and closing costs. Homebuyers can choose their lot, floor plan, and even customize their brick color and cabinet, flooring, and countertops from our selections.

DCH is currently involved in the development of a 24-unit elder friendly rental project that will begin construction in 2011.  Click here to learn more information about DCH's involvement in the project.
